FAQ: How do I change the power-line voltage setting for an E3600 series power supply?

Before changing the power-line voltage setting:

1. Unplug the instrument.

2. Read the “Line Voltage conversion” section in the manual and note the correct fuse values.

3. Verify that the correct fuse is installed before applying power.

Models Method
E3610A, E3611A and E3612A (Cannot change the line voltage setting)
E3614A, E3615A, E3616A, E3617A, E3620A, and E3630A, and E3640 series Open the top cover of the power supply. Then change the voltage setting using the selection switch on the PC board.
E3631A and E3632A Remove the power line module from the rear panel (near the AC receptacle). Rotate the power line voltage selector until the correct voltage appears. Replace the power line module in the rear panel.
